• I quiet my “thinking” mind and tune in to your animal’s thoughts and feelings by connecting with them at the heart or “soul” level. Animals communicate by sending me thoughts or phrases, images, emotions, sensations, and “knowings”, which are like a download of complex ideas that drops into my awareness. I will present to you everything I receive from your animal, even if it doesn’t make sense to me. In fact, it really only matters if the information makes sense to you!

  • No. In fact, I prefer knowing as little about your pet before a session as possible. I do not need a picture. The only information I need is your pet’s name, species (i.e., dog, cat), gender, and whether they are living or passed on. This helps us feel confident that everything I’m receiving in the session is coming directly from your animal. After the session, I LOVE seeing pictures of your beautiful animal and hearing about the things that made sense to you!

  • What I’ve come to understand is that animals choose to come into our lives to help us grow, heal, and return to a place of self-acceptance and joy. Each special animal we share our life with is helping us learn a unique ‘Soul Lesson’ in support of that journey.

Animals love us unconditionally and never judge us if we haven’t learned our lessons yet! In my experience, animals may also support us with smaller ‘sub-lessons’ along the way. In a Soul-Level Animal Communication reading, we’ll discover the main Soul Lesson your animal is helping you with, along with any additional insights that can support you as you move forward together.

  • Yes. It actually feels exactly the same for me to connect with a living or a passed pet.

  • I only need your pet’s name, species (i.e., dog, cat), gender, and whether they are living or passed on.

During the session, I might ask for a little additional information to clarify and focus a question you’re wanting to ask your pet. This is so that I can present the question to your pet in a way that will yield the most useful information.

  • To get the most out of your session, you may wish to do the following:

    ·      Be in a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted.

    ·      Silence phones and any notifications on your computer. If you forget or don’t know how to do this, don’t worry! It will be ok.

    ·      It’s best to NOT have your animals in the room with you during the Zoom session unless you do not have a separate space. I prefer not seeing your pets until after the session so that I can be confident that all the information I receive during the session is coming from your pet and isn’t information I picked up subconsciously from seeing them on Zoom!

    ·      Think about the question(s) you’d like to ask your pet. The best questions are things your heart is nudging you to ask about. This is a special opportunity, so take your time and think of an equally special question!

    ·      Have a pen and paper ready to take notes, if you wish.

  • This will depend on your unique situation. For a single animal behavioral challenge or grief session, it’s possible that one session will be enough to give you the clarity you need to move forward. Very complex or longstanding challenges may require a few more follow-up sessions because there are often layers to these issues. I will always give you my honest recommendation and will never push anyone to book additional sessions.

  • At this time, I’m not comfortable with finding lost pets. This is a specialty area of animal communication and I am happy to refer you to a colleague who does this work if you reach out to me.

  • I haven’t encountered this issue yet! Some animals are less talkative than others, but every animal I’ve connected with has had something meaningful to share with their human. Everything an animal does in a reading has meaning and is very intentional. If they are less talkative than you were hoping, that in itself can be a message your animal is wanting you to hear.

  • Yes. I will share everything I receive from your pet and it’s up to you to interpret it! I will intentionally avoid interpreting anything myself because that will bring me into the “thinking and analyzing” mind which defeats the purpose of an intuitive communication reading! Plus, your animal knows you best and knows what to share and how to share the information in a way that will be most beneficial for you. An image or a word that doesn’t mean anything to me may be full of meaning for you. My policy is to always trust the animal’s messages, however confusing or odd!

  • It is common for animals to share some things that don’t make sense right away. Something might not make sense until later in the reading, later that week, or months later! Don’t worry if something doesn’t make sense. Let the information percolate in the back of your mind for a while. You’ll be surprised how amazing realizations can pop into your mind later on when you’re not thinking about it! I have had this experience with my own pets. The very first time I had someone communicate with my two cats, I was convinced that she had mixed up their personalities! Two weeks later, it suddenly dawned on me that her reading was actually perfectly accurate, but I had been seeing my cats through mental filters which weren’t allowing me to perceive them accurately.

  • This can certainly happen and is totally normal. It’s up to you to decide if you want to share this with anyone, or just keep it to yourself. You know what’s best for you. Luckily, animal communication sessions are just for you and your pet’s benefit. No one else needs to “believe in it” for it to be helpful for you.

  • I would describe the work I do as being of a spiritual nature, but not related to a particular religion or belief system. I welcome all belief systems and religions.

  • No, I’m not able to make predictions. This is because the future is not fixed. Every thought we think or choice we make in each moment is changing the future.

What I can do is ask your pet what they’d like to share about their health or how they feel, right now. Animals live completely in the moment. They usually aren’t very interested in talking about the past or the future. They also have a different view of health and their bodies than most humans do. I’ve had some animals ask to be taken to a vet and others who did not feel it was relevant to mention health issues I already knew they were having. At the end-of-life, an animal may also choose to hide all signs of illness if they have decided they will cross over soon.

Animals decide when and where they will pass, what they will pass from, who will be with them, and whether or not they are euthanized. In other words, the animal chooses how the whole process will unfold. If you “choose” euthanasia for your beloved pet, know that it was actually your animal who was nudging you to research it, make the call, and schedule the appointment.

As always, I can ask your pet if there’s anything they want done, or done differently. I cannot make recommendations about end-of-life issues beyond reporting what your animal says. Please also continue working with your veterinarian for all medical-related concerns.

  • No, I cannot diagnose any medical conditions. I provide intuitive insight that is of a spiritual nature. Please be sure to take your pet to a veterinarian if you’re concerned about a medical condition. I can ask your pet what they’d like to share about how they’re feeling, but this is not medical advice, nor should it replace the advice of a veterinarian.

  • No, please do not stop seeing your vet or trainer or stop or change any prescribed medications without discussing it with these professionals first.

  • Absolutely. I connect with animals who have passed all the time and it can be incredibly healing for their humans who are grieving.

  • I recommend waiting at least 1-2 weeks. My understanding is that, when animals cross over, they go through an adjustment period where they’re getting re-acclimated to being fully in spirit form. Also, the human’s grief tends to be most overwhelming the first few weeks. Intense grief can make it harder for someone to be able to hear their pet’s messages.

  • It is normal and common to feel emotions coming up during a session. This could be anything from joy and laughter to a release of grief that you didn’t even know you were holding onto. Sometimes animals even make me cry when they are trying to show me what their human is feeling. Please be reassured that it’s normal to feel whatever you’re feeling and if you need to cry, please let yourself cry. Emotional releases can be part of the process, especially if there’s something in you that’s ready to heal.

I do want to reassure you that the most common emotional release during many sessions is laughter! Animals love to lighten the mood whenever they can and so their messages can come through in the most silly ways to help their human feel more joyful and relaxed.

  • I can, but we may need to do multiple sessions. There isn’t enough time in a 25-minute session to connect with more than one pet, but it’s possible with the 45-minute session. Please reach out to me and we can decide together what the best length session will be for your situation. Please know that, to have enough time to discover the Soul Lesson for any additional animals, we will need to do a separate session for this very special part of the reading!

  • It’s usually most helpful for you to be present, but I am also able to communicate with your animal and send you a written report, if you prefer.

  • Because challenging behaviors can show up in order to help the human learn and grow, the human usually needs to take some steps toward learning their pet’s lesson in order for the behavior to shift. Sometimes the new awareness on the part of the human is enough. It depends on your particular pet and how deeply they feel you need to understand the lesson. It can be beneficial to do one or two follow-up sessions for really tricky behavior issues. There are often multiple layers that need to be addressed. Your pet knows how much change you can handle at any given time, so they aren’t going to overwhelm you with more information than you’re able to integrate. It helps to understand that this is always a collaborative process with your animal and you’re never “doing it wrong”, even if it might take some time for things to shift.

  • I can ask your pet what they’d like to share about their past, but most pets aren’t all that interested in dwelling on their past. They live completely in the moment. They will only share something about their past if they feel it is for your greatest and highest good right now. Animals always have a much broader view than we do. This is why my mantra is always to trust the animal and trust the information they’ve chosen to share.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to record your session! However, please know that no part of a session may be reproduced in any form, posted online, or used in any way other than for your own personal enrichment. Please see my privacy policy for more information.
